Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Monterosas collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.
Who is responsible
Monterosas, a rose grower and exporter based in Tabacundo, Pichincha, Ecuador, is the data controller. You can reach us at info@monterosas.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into our contact form:
- Name and company name.
- Email address and phone number.
- Country and city.
- Type of client and the message you write.
We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any special category of data. Do not send them through this form.
Technical data
Our anti-spam provider processes your IP address and browser information to tell a person from an automated script. If analytics are enabled, they record anonymous usage data and never your form content.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and quote the roses you asked about.
- To keep a record of the commercial conversation with you.
- To protect the form from automated abuse.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the acceptance box, and our legitimate interest in replying to a commercial enquiry.
Who else sees it
The form is delivered by EmailJS, which transmits the message to our inbox, and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Both act as processors and neither sells your data. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as the commercial relationship is active, and up to two years after the last contact. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to stop using it at any time. Write to info@monterosas.com and we will reply within thirty days.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or profiling cookies. The anti-spam widget may set a strictly necessary cookie to validate the challenge.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
